'Big Freeze' Project

12 January 2007 Norland Managed Services has recently been involved in Project Big Freeze, a number of, on-site projects, managed centrally from Selfridges London.

The on-site team has managed to provide critical services at very short notice with expertise and knowledge of the site and local systems.

Six mobile chillers were drafted in within 4 hours (from Big Fridge) enabling Selfridges to retain all produce whilst providing a "no change" service to business.

Their diligence and ability to provide these services prevented a loss of stock affecting profits and business. The Norland team were Dave Williams (Engineer), Mark Jones (Area Manager), Bella Simon (Engineer), Stuart Bailey (Lead Engineer) and John Kearns (Supervisor). The Big Fridge team consisted of James White (Managing Director) and Richard Moon (Logistics Manager).
